Our long stay of 30 nights at Old Mountain Retreat was an A+! The setting is quiet and serene with beautiful views out every window. The house sits atop a hill, surrounded by trees and the neighborhood is nestled alongside the holes of the gorgeous Manitou Passage Golf Club. The home is perfectly outfitted for all that you need and more - among the best equipped on AirBnb in our opinion! The space was thoughtfully appointed, beautifully decorated and in perfect condition, very clean and cozy. We enjoyed the kitchen and the beds were all very comfortable. We worked remotely with a dependable and speedy connection. It is a perfect location from which to zip to Leland, Glen Arbor and Sutton's Bay. We also enjoyed the closest beaches down Good Harbor Trail and at the end of Bohemian Road. Lastly, the Old Mountain Retreat has a fantastic outdoor space that we would love to enjoy more fully in warmer weather. We look forward to returning and highly recommend this rental!

Dreamy, just dreamy! Cannot say enough good things about our long weekend stay at this magical mountain house! Carefully curated with serious attention to detail, it was the perfect home away from home. It is conveniently located, driving distance to many of Northern Michigan’s quaintest towns and that truly allowed for proper exploration of scenic nature trails, wineries, historic landmarks, local staples and Lake’s Michigan’s gorgeous beaches. The house is extremely cozy, updated with a modern flair and provides plenty of room to spread out! The hosts are wonderful, very attentive, and helped make our stay stress free! We will definitely be booking again in 2024 to create more core memories!

We absolutely loved out time at Rove & Stay! The accommodations are so charming and have a clean, modern touch. We were able to enjoy our trail runs very close to the house. Downtown Glen Arbor was just a stones throw away and was a perfect day trip. We loved getting back to a cozy, clean home nestled in the woods. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this home!

The Old Mountain Escape gave us an incredible getaway to the Traverse City area! First thing's first: this place is GORGEOUS. The design touches throughout the home are beautiful and each room is so cozy. Second: this place is spotless. Very clean and well taken care of throughout the entire home. It was raining so we didn't get to use the outdoor spaces, but we can't wait to go back and sit by the fire and eat at the outdoor table. Lastly - the location is everything. The house sits back on a quiet street, so you have privacy, but is also close to so many gems of the area. We hiked at Sleeping Bear Dunes, enjoyed a stroll through and lunch in Glen Arbor, drank wine at the local wineries, and headed into Traverse City for shopping. If you get a chance, go to Farm Club for a meal. It was one of our favorite restaurants ever! We'll be back to Old Mountain Escape and have already told all of our friends to go, too! :)

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at Old Mountain House by Rove and Stay in Michigan, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a calming and clean home that set the tone for a fantastic stay.

The accommodations like washer/dryer, dishwasher, yoga mats, board games and outdoor seating made the stay even more pleasant and easy to relax in. The rooms were spacious, clean, and SO aesthetically pleasing. The attention to detail in the design and furnishings really stood out, creating a comfortable and stylish environment that felt like a home away from home.

We especially loved the location of our stay, it was one of the main and many highlights. Situated in a vibrant area of Michigan, it was convenient to explore nearby hiking trails, small towns, and scenic views. Whether we were looking for outdoor adventures or more quaint experiences, the house’s location made it easy to access everything the area had to offer.

Overall, our stay in Michigan was nothing short of amazing. The luxurious and comfortable accommodations combined with a great location made it a memorable experience. We highly recommend Old Mountain House to anyone looking for a stay in Michigan.
